Lars Bjorge

Lars has 18 years of marketing experience spanning his native Norway and China, where he has been since 2009. Lars was significant in establishing the digital marketing discipline in Norway. In 2001 Proximity Oslo was established through an acquisition of his agency, and in 2007 he headed up the establishment of Tribal DDB Oslo. Both agencies were strong contenders in the national and international awards scene.

In 2009 his interest in international marketing led him to China and Lars joined PHD in 2011. Under Lars leadership PHD has grown its digital planning business by 400%, while simultaneously increasing specialization in areas such as content, search, programmatic, social, mobile and measurement/ analytics. This has been a contributing factor to PHD recently winning Greater China’s Agency of the Year, as well as consistently being the among the most awarded media agencies in China.
